page 21: 2-292; William White of Lancaster County dec'd patented 192 acres in said county, 18 Jan. 1663, 146 acres first taken up by Wroughton and assigned to White and 26 acres surplus taken up by White. At death of White, it descended to his son William White who died. Escheat grant to William Ball of Lancaster County for 172 acres on Rappahanock River adjoining Jon Merriman, part of Thomas Harwood's land belonging to Charles King's orphans. 14 Oct. 1698
